Death Is But a Journey

Death is but a journey, it doesn’t matter who or where you are. You could be sitting at home, or driving in your car.
Young or old, white or grey, death can take you any day.
All of a sudden, it hits you, grips you tight. Death has came to claim you, you may want to struggle and fight.
But I say neh, for I do not fear death. I believe it’s a journey we all take before we rest.
Death is but a journey we all must take. In the end, we all will see God’s face.
Death is not what some people think. It isn’t horrifying, infact, its actually freeing.
The spirit and the soul can leave this temple. The body can rot and the spirit can be whole.
Drifting, sifting, memories fading, everything turns to black.
Blood pours from my wound, there’s no going back.
I am free! At last! I will not be full of blasphemy!
The dead do talk, in their own way, they have a lot of things to say.
This earth is not my home, it is nothing but lies. My home is in Heaven with God, in the mighty eternal sky!
